Wins prestigious ‘WSIS Prizes 2016’ for ‘ICT Development in Arab Region Project’ under ‘Action Line C11 International & Regional Cooperation’ category
The UAE’s 39 delegates to the World Summit on the Information Society (WSIS) Forum taking place from May 2 to 6, 2016 in Geneva, Switzerland. WSIS Forum 2016 is the latest edition of the leading global forum for ICT-driven development. It is co-organized by the International Telecommunication Union (ITU), the UN Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO), the UN Development Programme (UNDP), and the UN Conference on Trade and Development (UNCTAD) in collaboration with various WSIS Action Line Facilitators and Co-Facilitators.
