In light of the disastrous outbreak of COVID-19, the LAU Medical Center-Rizk Hospital and the LAU Gilbert and Rose-Marie Chagoury School of Medicine continues the LAU National Campaign mission through the LAU Mobile Clinic operation by touring around the 4 corners of Lebanon and providing free PCR tests for symptomatic or exposed people, mainly those who cannot afford to pay for the test or who are not covered by any sort of medical insurance or social security.

We have always longed for more time to spend with our loved ones. Some of us don’t get to have that extra time to spend with them due to our hectic schedules and busy timetables but, now that you have more time to spend at home why don’t you plan something whereby the whole household can join in and live the fun together? We have come up with the following home activities that we think will bring the family together, activities that will tighten and bond and most of all give us time to cherish.

PepsiCo, the global food and beverage company, through its philanthropic arm The PepsiCo Foundation, and Societe Moderne Libanaise pour le Commerce (S.M.L.C.), the Pepsi bottler in Lebanon since 1952, have donated $200,000 USD to Lebanese Red Cross and Rafic Hariri University Hospital to support the most vulnerable groups in current confinement and isolation due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

The Association of Lebanese Business People in the World (RDCL World) have signed an MOU agreement with the LAU Medical Center- Rizk Hospital headed by its President Dr. Joseph Jabbra and his team. This agreement aims to donate 800 PCR tests by RDCL World to the LAU mobile clinic national campaign of providing Free PCR tests across Lebanon and especially to patients showing symptoms and do not have social security coverage or any health insurance.
