The first official Miss Universe Diamond Crown by Mouawad will make its debut at the 68^th annual MISS UNIVERSE® competition, where Miss Universe 2018 Catriona Gray will crown her successor.

Mouawad unveiled its Mouawad Dragon Suite at an exclusive private viewing in the Mouawad Dubai Mall boutique on July 8. Leading UAE and pan-Arab media representatives were invited to join Mouawad Co-guardian Mr. Pascal Mouawad for this exceptional experience, which brought them face to face with one of the most spectacular diamonds in the world now taking its place in a magnificent one-of-a-kind jewelry suite.

Reminiscent of legendary love stories that stood the test of time, the Majestic diamond suite beams with a spectacular brillianceemanating from a wondrous selection ofD-F, FL-VS2diamonds, totaling no less than 274carat. In the necklace, multi-shaped diamonds are interwoven together in 18-karat white gold, effortlessly leading the eye to an exquisite D-FL pear of 15.23 carat.

Mouawad has just completed the crafting of a yellow rough yielding an extraordinary polished 54.21 carat round brilliant cut, fancy vivid yellow, the largest ever graded to date by the Gemological Institute of America. The diamond was birthed the Mouawad Dragon as its color is reminiscent of the Dragon’s magical powers and fiery eye.
