DEWA launches year-long Reading is Positive Energy exhibition at Zabeel Park with Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Foundation

Dubai Electricity and Water Authority (DEWA), in cooperation with the Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Foundation (MBRF), has launched the Reading is Positive Energy exhibition at Zabeel Park in Dubai. The move is part of DEWA’s efforts to support the directives of HH Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nayhan, President of the UAE, who declared 2016 as the Year of Reading and was approved by the UAE Cabinet under the leadership of HH Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai.

Dubai Electricity and Water Authority (DEWA) has successfully organised a series of innovation camps, at the Hyatt Regency hotel in Dubai, to improve its services and explore new ways of providing innovative services in a more efficient, and comfortable way based on the highest international standards of achieving happiness for all people. DEWA Receives 5 bids for Phase III of the Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Solar Park

Dubai Electricity and Water Authority (DEWA) has received 5 bids from international organisations for the third phase of the Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Solar Park, said HE Saeed Mohammed AlTayer, MD & CEO of DEWA. The lowest recorded bid at the opening of the envelopes was US 2.99 cents per kilowatt hour. The next step in the bidding process will review the technical and commercial aspects of the bids to select the best one.

DEWA honours 15 recipients of the International Expert ITIL Certificate

Dubai Electricity and Water Authority (DEWA) honoured 15 employees from its IT division for receiving the International Expert ITIL (Information Technology Infrastructure Library) Certificate. They were awarded the certificates for applying the best international practices in IT service management. This supports DEWA’s ongoing efforts to improve the skills of employees.

DEWA Signs MoU with Dubai Culture

Dubai Electricity and Water Authority (DEWA) has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Dubai Culture and Arts Authority (Dubai Culture), during the Dubai International Government Achievements Exhibition (DIGAE) 2016, held from 11-13 April at the Dubai International Convention and Exhibition Centre. The MoU aims to improve relations, and exchange skills and information. This is part of DEWA’s focus on developing strategic partnerships with organisations in the UAE, and Dubai in particular.
