These messages, which falsely claim to come from Alfa or from its Chairman and CEO, Mr. Marwan Hayek, claiming to offer the chance to those who dial an international telephone number included in the message to win various prizes on the occasion of the company’s 16^th anniversary. The fraud’s victims are then told to visit the company’s headquarters to collect their reward.
