Without hope life is meaningless ; Novartis and Alisep aid Multiple Sclerosis Patients to Break the Wall of Pains

Ahead of the World MS Day on May 27, and with the participation of the Swiss Ambassador in Lebanon H.E. Mr. Francois Barras, Novartis, the global pharmaceutical leader , launched the Multiple Sclerosis (MS) awareness campaign in Lebanon and in collaboration with the Association Libanaise contre la Sclérose en Plaques (ALiSEP),  with a unique experiential event for MS patients at Beirut Souks, on Friday 8 May,

Dubbed "Together to Break the Wall", the event saw MS patients build then destroy a wall of Styrofoam bricks representing the pains and symptoms of MS, as a way of expressing their power and conquest over the sickness. The event, which ended up in a joyful atmosphere, left patients feeling relieved and in high spirits, as they tore down the mounting wall of pains and celebrated hope and life to the happy sound of music.
