Les Arcades Reveals Renovated Premises

Les Arcades' history is a unique and rich one. First inaugurated in 1950, by Mr. Bassil Trad, in Souk El Tawileh, in the center of downtown Beirut, the boutique established itself as a reference for exclusive silverware and household luxury products.

Relocated to Achrafieh, on Abdel Wahab El Inglizi Street, by Mr. Trad's son and successor, Mr. Nagib Trad in 1977, during the war and in the midst of the destruction of downtown Beirut, Les Arcades remained active during war time, strengthening its image as part of Beirut's heritage.

Ever since Les Arcades first opened its doors, the intent and concept has remained the same: to be the meeting point between the art of table decoration, luxury household goods, and design. Rare, exclusive and limited objects are also available, and part of the boutique's identity.

In 2014, 64 years following its first opening, Les Arcades underwent a complete renovation, under the direction of Mr. Basil Trad, son of Mr. Najib Trad. Renovated with a modern, refined feel, and maintaining the same passion for beauty, tradition and exclusivity, Les Arcades remains loyal to brands that have been available for many years, such as Saint Louis, Mappin & Webb, Moser, Herend, and Stelton… and more!
