Reviving Beirut’s 80’s and 90’s legendary Cresus Club, and just in time to welcome a very promising summer season, Le Show De Cresus recently opened its doors welcoming the glamorous Beirutis in a fully renovated 1920’s Paris Victorian style club-resto with red velvet walls, golden curtains, majestic chandeliers and vintage woodwork in between giving the place a warm feel.
The new concept is not a far cry from the original club that was established in in 1979 by Antoine Hage. At the time, Cresus attracted internationally renowned stars, the likes of Gloria Gaynor, Jean-Francois Michael, Nadia Gamal and Le Paris Show and was the launching point of great local artists like Melhem Baraket, Ragheb Alameh and Samara.
On the occasion, Rudy Hage, the owner of Le Show De Cresus, commented: “From the minute I decided to revive the club, I wanted to create something different, I wanted my vision and my concept to be unique and attractive, thus the diversified show inspired by numerous legendary stars from around the world that will sure keep my guests on their toes. Everything at the club from the service, to the entertainment, to the food and the ambiance oozes luxury and glamour and caters for Beirut’s most beautiful people.”
The remodeled space hosts the stage right in the middle so that every client gets a VIP table, and a clear view of the show, which consists of 6 singers and full band performing between 11 PM and 3 AM. The cuisine is Asian/Western fusion combining steaks with sushi and tuna Tataki.
