The "Heavenly Culture, World Peace, Restoration of Light - HWPL" in South Korea selected Lebanon as a new destination to be included among their International Peace Walks.
This announcement took place during the visit of the HWPL Chief Liaison Officer Kristi Jeon to Lebanon accompanied by the Middle East General Manager Vicky Kim.
The yearly event will be organized in partnership with the "Lebanese Development Network - LDN" in collaboration with the civil society organizations, activists and other stakeholders.
During the meeting, Jeon designated the President of the "Lebanese Development Network - LDN" Amin Nehme as 'Peace Ambassador' for HWPL; a designation which has been also provided to the President of the "Bahrain Society for Tolerance and Religious Co-existence" Youssef Buzaboon for his dedication in promoting the culture of peace, tolerance and conviviality.
This designation is granted to distinguished individuals and activists who showed commitment to human values and demonstrated exceptional levels of involvement in establishing peace, promoting justice and bringing interfaith dialogue.
The Heavenly Culture, World Peace, Restoration of Light (HWPL) is a non-governmental, non-profit organization founded in 2013 by Man Hee Lee; a South Korean veteran and Pastor. It transcends differences in culture, belief and region to engage leaders and youth in sustainable and comprehensive solutions for peace.
