Beirut – January, 2015 – Harry’s Bar is situated in the heart of Beirut, the cosmopolitan city par excellence. This upscale Italian restaurant is situated a short distance from the business district and the hubs that animate the city’s nightlife.
The setting is classic Venetian with a touch of deco to break the patern in bronz and verde marble with olive green leather. Situated in the lounge area, the glossy bar is a wonderful centerpiece, where guests can start their gastronomic experience with a Bellini – a delicious blend of peach puree and Prosecco which was invented sometime between 1934 and 1948 by Giuseppe Cipriani, founder of Harry's Bar.
Moving on to the restaurant, guests are immersed by the exceptional lavish experience and energy of the place. Designed by Nabil Dada, Harry's Bar’s warm and vibrant interior boasts green marble flooring, and picturesque patine walls by Rima Yafi.
The head chef as well as most of the kitchen brigade are quintessentially Italian, and their knowledge and pride in the ingredients and dishes is infectious. The good looking white jacketed waiters are well trained and full of enthusiasm. The Italian sommelier has developed a superb wine list.
The menu is extensive, with inventive Italian recipes that catch the eye. The Carpaccio and the Tagliolini verde are signature flavorsome dishes. The Sea Bass is a must – light tomato and herb broth with black olives – and the risotto with wild mushroom and the Frittura Mista are not to be missed.
“The opening of Harry's bar has been highly anticipated by the Lebanese society for whom international experience is a must. With its charming decor, and signature dishes, and exceptional quality of service, Harry's bar is set to become a landmark in Beirut. We are confident that delivering a gourmet experience and great service will keep our customers coming back,” said Sami Hawa, Managing Director. “We aim to bring a luxury Italian dining experience consistent with international standards of excellence to this expanding and discerning clientele in Beirut.”
Harry's bar Beirut will continue to enchant the palates of fans the world over.
