Abu Dhabi Waste Management Center (Tadweer) has rolled out electronic entry permits to landfills for environmental service provider vehicles as part of its plan to accelerate the digitalization of its services and enhance their quality.

The UAE Tour 2019 saw 20 teams of competing cyclist’s race through Dubai Design District (d3), for the third consecutive year. The Environmental Compliance Department at the Ministry of Climate Change and Environment (MOCCAE) carried out a surprise inspection at the Waterfront Market in Dubai. Inspectors seized 1,730 kilograms of fish, issued violation tickets to shop owners, fishermen and fish transporters who contravened the nation’s fisheries regulations, and donated the haul to charities to benefit families in need.
