Arabia CSR Network receives record-breaking entries to Arabia CSR Awards 2017

The Arabia CSR Network, the Middle East’s leading training service provider and think tank, has received a record-breaking number of entries to this year’s Arabia CSR Awards, the Arab region’s most prestigious Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) awards. The number of applications to the latest edition grew to a remarkable 106 applications, reflecting anew the significance of Arabia CSR Awards in the region’s bid to promote social responsibility and sustainable practices both in the public and private sectors.

Bassma’s Fundraising Gala Dinner Celebrates 15 years and 100,000 changed lives!

Bassma hosted their annual fundraising Gala Dinner at Tanit Venue on May 17th.  During which they celebrated their 15 year anniversary and a milestone of 100,000 underprivileged individuals supported through various programs that include: food, clothing, healthcare, education, professional training workshops, job matchings, and even house renovation.

“Undress 522” An Installation by Mireille Honein and ABAAD

Following a session that took place on March 15, 2017, ABAAD continues its efforts to implement activities in support of the proposal to abolish Article 522 of the Lebanese Penal Code within Parliament.

An art installation was launched at Ain el Mraysseh in Beirut, where 31 wedding dresses made from paper were hung from nooses. This number symbolized the 31 days in a month wherein raped women – who are forced to marry their rapists – die daily.

Arabia CSR Network to hold one-day clinic to increase awareness on application process for CSR awards

Arabia CSR Network, the Middle East region’s leading training service provider and think tank, will be holding a one-day clinic for applicants and potential participants of the annual ‘Arabia CSR Awards,’ the region’s most prestigious CSR awards, to support them in preparing their applications. The clinic, which will take place on April 10, 2017 at the Millennium Plaza Hotel in Dubai, is expected to give CSR and sustainability champions a better understanding of the application process and the necessary documentation it entails.
