Ministry of Health and Prevention organizes blood donation campaign on Martyrs’ Day and UAE National Day

Activities to be held from November 30 to December 3

The Sharjah Blood Transfusion and Research Centre of the Ministry of Health and Prevention (MOHAP) will hold a blood donation campaign from November 30 to December 3, 2016 as part of its activities during UAE Martyrs’ Day and National Day.

Bassma Association Collaborates with Burger King S.A.L to Promote Education

Bassma Association collaborates with Burger King S.A.L in order to promote education during the month of November in the "Burger for a Cause" campaign to do a fundraising activity at the universities where Burger King will sell its meals, offering the profit to Bassma’s deprived families. The funds will be invested in the "Night School" program of Bassma, thus focusing on education with the slogan "Get your Burger & Help Educate a Child in Need".

Bassma’s Families experience a Fun Day in La Sagesse public garden

Nowadays, people can spend a lot of money on their own outings and their children’s. However, deprived families can’t even afford to go to the beach, visit a cultural site, or simply take a trip to the mountains, therefore, Bassma Association decided to take several disadvantaged families encompassing 250 beneficiaries in an outing to La Sagesse public garden to spend a beautiful day together, to have lunch, play and build beautiful memories, while feeling the family spirit.

The leading financial services company was honoured for its key role in supporting the work of the United Nations by making financial and moral contributions to Nothing But Nets, a global grassroots campaign to raise awareness and funding to fight malaria.
