Constantly aiming to modernize banking services and increase the level of security when using credit cards, LGB BANK s.a.l. launched new services to curb piracy operations when using cards for online and POS purchases.

First, with the Pin On Chip service for POS purchases, Cardholders will be asked to enter a PIN when purchasing at the point of sale. This service will automatically be available when issuing a new card or when renewing existing cards.

Second, the 3D Secure service for online purchase aims at entering an OTP - One Time Pin that is valid for one time only, for each online purchase. This OTP is sent via SMS to the cardholder.

Third, the Change of PIN Code service entitles the cardholder to change the PIN code, through the main menu in the ATM.
