The ceremony brought back the nostalgia of the 60s and 70’s with the iconic charm, elegance and attractiveness of “Leila”, who made a special appearance on the night. The attendees relived the old memories of Beirut, in particular the vibrant Hamra Street nightlife that was dearly missed by everyone.
On the occasion, Founder and Executive Manager of Kahwet Leila, Joe Abrass, commented: “The opening of Kahwet Leila in Hamra is a great milestone for us; this expansion aims at meeting, if not exceeding, our loyal clients’ expectations and comes in line with our mission to constantly grow throughout the Lebanese market and abroad, all the while delivering a unique Lebanese trademark in the hospitality world”.
Kahwet Leila embodies the Lebanon of the 60’s and 70’s offering visitors the option to dine or chill out over a cup of coffee while playing backgammon. The menu is purely Lebanese featuring a wide array of dishes from colorful mezze, salads made out of fresh vegetables, Lebanese pizza, Lebanese burger, kaak and fresh pastries to barbecued meats and poultry, grilled to perfection as well as an extensive light menu.
