His Excellency (H.E.) Dr. Thani Al Zeyoudi, Minister, Ministry of Climate Change and Environment (MoCCE), is set to meet with farmers from the UAE’s central region on Wednesday (March 16, 2016). The visit, which is part of the Minister’s scheduled field trips around the country, is aimed towards learning more about the current situation of UAE farmers, the challenges they face and how the Ministry can help address their issues. The move also represents the MoCCE’s continuing efforts to promote the agriculture sector and how it can help increase its contributions to the national economy.
Minister Al Zeyoudi will be visiting the MoCCE’s Agriculture Innovation Centre where he will be briefed on its recent projects, achievements and experiences in the move to develop the agriculture industry.
The visit follows after the Minister’s recent visits to Ras Al Khaimah (RAK) and Fujairah where he successfully met and held meetings with fishermen and farmers from the Northern and Central region.
