Leading event hosts over 850 exhibitors from 36 countries
Riyadh – November 11, 2014: Under the patronage of H.R.H. Prince Dr. Mansour Bin Miteb Bin Abdulaziz, the Minister of Municipal and Rural Affairs, His Excellency Eng. Abdullah bin Abdul Rahman Al Mogbil, Mayor of Riyadh, on Monday November 10, 2014 opened Saudi Build 2014 – the 26th International Construction Technology and Building Materials Trade Exhibition, in the presence and participation of official dignitaries, business people and specialists. Running until November 13 at the Riyadh International Convention and Exhibition Centre, the event gathers over 850 exhibitors from 36 countries.
Approved by UFI, the Global Association of the Exhibition Industry, Saudi Build 2014 is set to highlight a wide range of leading products and cutting-edge technologies, including Aluminium Frames and Structures, Architectural Finishing Products, Building Materials, Ceramic Tiles, Concrete Products and Precast Structures, Construction Systems, Engineering and Design Services, Environment Protection Equipment, Landscaping and Garden Ornaments, Security and Safety Tools and Systems, Water and Heat Insulation, and Steel and Wood Products, among others.
Saudi Build 2014 is held concurrently with Saudi Stone-Tech 2014 – the 17th International Stone and Stone Technology Exhibition, that features products ranging from marble slabs, granite, natural stone, mosaic, modern and most sophisticated computerized stone cutting machines to quarrying machinery, polishing equipments, and discs, blades, and slates among others. Additionally, the show is concurrently held with Saudi Build PMV Series – the 15th International Exhibition for Construction Equipment, Plant, Machinery and Vehicles, that offers a major platform for participants to network with industry leaders while conducting business and sales.
Saudi Build 2014 further features the first edition of Saudi Build Seminars. Organized in collaboration between Riyadh Exhibitions Company and Advanced Conferences and Meetings (ACM), seminars’ topics include ‘Stay Ahead of Interior Design Trends in the GCC,’ ‘Better Understand the Guiding Principles for Sustainable Interior Design,’ ‘Learn How to Combine Traditional Islamic Architecture With Contemporary Design,’ ‘Explore Specific Challenges With Achieving Higher Quality Finishing Works in KSA,’ ‘Design Iconic Multi-Purpose and Sustainable Rail Stations and Streetscapes,’ and ‘Discover Facade Design Strategies to Maintain and Optimise Building Performance.’
