G-SHOCK AND MAHARISHI ANNOUNCE MIDDLE EAST RELEASE OF NEW GWG-1000MH-1AER

Limited edition timepiece highlights British Bonsai Forest print to showcase beauty and strength found in natural elements

 G-SHOCK and UK-based military design brand, Maharishi has revealed the Middle East launch of the Winter 2017 Maharishi X G-SHOCK GWG-1000MH-1AER, a limited-edition timepiece that highlight’s Maharishi’s latest Disruptive Pattern Material (DPM) print, British Bonsai Forest. The newest G-SHOCK model will now be made available exclusively across all G-Factory stores in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA), UAE and Qatar. The Maharishi X G-SHOCK GWG-1000MH-1AER takes on the aesthetic design of Maharishi’s stretched camouflage variant, made more appealing with its use of complementing bright orange luminous indicators on the watch’s dial.

The Maharishi X G-SHOCK GWG-1000MH-1AER, which is part of the LAND series, contains all the features that has made G-SHOCK retain its leading position for watches designed primarily for sports, military and outdoors-oriented activities. The new timepiece's British Bonsai print throws the spotlight on Maharishi's new take on the traditional camouflage pattern, which is reminiscent of spiralling and interlocking patterns commonly found in wood grain. The print introduces a new 'stretch' variant--elongated graphics that seems to blend cohesively into the watch strap and boldly sends out the statement that camouflage is rooted in nature.

The Maharishi X G-SHOCK GWG-1000MH-1AER integrates breaking new features like an atmospheric pressure sensor (altimeter/barometer), temperature sensor (thermometer), magnetic sensor for compass readings and its signature Multiband 6 technology, which allows for the most accurate timekeeping. It also includes Tough Solar power, and a shadow dispersing solar panel dial, which enables high-capacity solar-charging. Other features of the limited-edition timepiece include mud, shock and vibration resistance; 200M water resistant; full auto-double LED lights; World Time with 29 time zones that cover 29 cities + UTC; 4 Daily Alarms and 1 Snooze Alarm; 1/100th second Stopwatch; Countdown Timer; 12/24 Hour Formats and a day and date display.

The Middle East release of the Maharishi X G-SHOCK GWG-1000MH-1AER follows its successful launch in an exclusive in-store event held at Maharishi London.
