Dubai Government Workshop has launched a series of interactive activities falling in line with the celebration of UAE Innovation Month, which is being held in response to the directives of His Highness (H.H.) Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai. Dubai Government Workshop's participation demonstrates its recognition of innovation as a core value and a cornerstone in presenting high quality services--complementing the National Innovation Strategy aimed at supporting the objectives of UAE Vision 2021.
Hamid Sultan Al Mutaiwee, Executive Director, Dubai Government Workshop, said: “Our participation represents an ideal opportunity to highlight our employee's innovative capabilities, including their role to create a core of services that look towards providing customers with happiness and satisfaction. We are keen towards taking part in this national event, which has now become an annual tradition that further drives the innovation process--positioning itself as a necessity and not an option, in line with the vision of Sheikh Mohammed to position the emirate as one of the most competitive and most innovative in the world. We move forward with our efforts to promote and encourage innovation, believing in its importance as a key driver for all kinds of work, including primary services, productivity, time saving and keeping at pace with the latest developments and technologies.
In line with the month-long celebration, Dubai Government Workshop successfully organized a photo exhibition that featured a distinctive collection of innovations and ideas created by their employees, which has also helped in enriching the workshop's creative process over the last few years. Dubai Government Workshop also held a designing ideas session, which was aimed at introducing innovation and the significant role it plays in the development and creation of the future. The session covered some of the projects made by Dubai Government Workshop employees including ‘Movable Maintenance Workshop,’ the ‘Movable Kitchen,’ and ‘Falcon Car Transport.’
