New offering reflects Dubai Courts continuing efforts to drive up customer happiness index and support towards smart government transformation
UAE, 3 March, 2015 - Dubai Courts has revealed the launch of a new e-service that aims to provide a smoother and easier way to publish legal declaration ads in local newspapers. The new service is part of Dubai Courts’ continuing efforts to provide world-class and fully efficient services to achieve 100 per cent customer and public satisfaction and happiness as per the directives of H.H. Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai. The service can also be used to post legal ads like lawsuits online in situations when it would be hard to reach the defendant of the case posted. In addition, the e-service will allow easy access to all information related to the legal ad--history, type, number of law cases, the names of the parties involved and texts of the declarations. Dubai Courts latest offering is also the first service of its kind that allows users to utilize it via a downloadable app for their mobile phones or by coming to the Dubai Courts building and using the self-service device to announce their declarations where the payment can be paid in cash or by credit card. H.E. Expert/ Tarish Eid Al Mansouri, Director General, Dubai Courts, said “The launching of this new e-service provides added value to the bundle of electronic and smart services that supports the directives of His Highness (H.H.) Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, in transforming Dubai as one of the smartest cities in the world.” “This new offering is expected to set new benchmarks and standards in the facilitation of court transactions, particularly in the publishing of legal declarations, which is one of the important steps in notifying defendants—saving a lot of time and effort. We remain steadfast in our move towards developing more unique electronic and smart services that support the visions and aspirations of the country’s wise leadership. This new e-service represents part of our continuing commitment and support for the government’s efforts to achieve 100 per cent customer happiness and satisfaction and to drive in improved efficiency, reliability and effectiveness in terms of government performance, which serves the objectives of Dubai Plan 2021—positioning the emirate as a global trailblazer that is recognized for its quality of life and excellence in governance,” concluded Al Mansouri.
