Beirut, February20, 2015: King Food S.A.L., the BURGER KING® brand franchisee in Lebanon, recently introduced the Big Fish Sandwich® to its lineup of tasty menu items. This annual offering comes in recognition of the Lenten Season which many Lebanese patiently wait for.
The new sandwich features a 100%, lightly breaded fish fillet, and is topped with a simple combination of sweet tartar sauce, shredded lettuce and tangy pickles, all on a corn-dusted bakery style bun.
Marc Kallassi, General Manager at King Food commented, “BURGER KING® Lebanon understands the necessity of catering to our customers during the season of fasting and penitence in preparation for Easter, which is why we annually ensure to provide our guests with the mouthwatering Big Fish Sandwich®.”
The Big Fish Sandwich® is the third member of a collection of new BURGER KING® menu items, following the Chicken Wrap® sandwich and Chicken Royal Steakhouse®sandwich which were launched earlier in January and February 2015, respectively.
