Alfa Chief Communication Affairs Officer Mrs. Aline Karam paid homage to militant mothers, especially mothers of Lebanese army soldiers and the mothers who lost their children to traffic accidents, in addition to mothers in the media sector who make many sacrifices to convey the truth to the public. She stated that women constitute 41% of the Alfa staff, of whom 37% are mothers.
Karam also added: “We are meeting under the banner of art, which intersects with our Alfa 4-Life CSR program, through which we work with children with special needs to build their character and promote their integration into society through art therapy. Thanks to this program, we discovered unique talents in those children and we worked on developing them. An example of this is Ali Tlais, who became a distinguished artist, as well as the children from SOS Children's Villages, who gathered their drawings in an enchanting book. This is in addition to students from the Lebanese School for the Blind and the Deaf who expressed themselves through unique sculptures overcoming their visual impairment”.
