The move aims to further position Abu Dhabi as a leading destination for smart transformation. The five new journeys are expected to follow the success of the ‘New Medical Journey’ which promote business and investment in Abu Dhabi by simplifying investor procedures through a single digital channel and one document. ‘Moving to New Home’ journey continues to provide an ideal platform to offer a healthy and equitable social environment for the community, while upgrading government services to meet the needs of Abu Dhabi’s sustainable development efforts.
The proposed new journeys which will be launched by end 2018 include ‘Establishing a New Business’, a simple and innovative journey that would enable investors and entrepreneurs setup their own investment opportunities to support development; ‘Building / Buying A Home’, which aims to save time and effort for customers and facilitate their journey for obtaining building licenses towards developing the real estate market in Abu Dhabi. The third journey is ‘Getting Medical Treatment’, which aims to simplify the procedures for obtaining health insurance, medical history, and medical tests, among others.
‘Visiting Abu Dhabi’, which is the fourth journey. This journey offers innovative and distinctive tourism services and exceptional experience to Abu Dhabi visitors. The service aims to enhance tourism flow and increase GDP growth in line with the emirate’s economic diversification strategy. The fifth journey, ‘Driving A Car’, consists of two phases, the first one is getting a driving license, while the second is renewal of license, aimed at providing the highest levels of quality, accuracy and credibility.

Al Saadi added: “We look forward to collaborating in the planning and setting the direction of our plan to launch five priority journeys by the end of this year, to complement the success of ‘Moving to a New Home’ and ‘New Medical’ journeys. These journeys were the result of active partnership with government entities and our partners from the private sector, and we highly praise their continuing support to TAMM, which falls under the Abu Dhabi Government Economic Vision 2030’s goals of enhancing the business environment, facilitating the lives of people and bringing happiness, success and prosperity.”
The workshop also discussed the details of establishing the ‘TAMM Factory’ innovation lab, an interactive platform for all government entities to discuss the developments, details and aspects related to integrated journeys of TAMM. The platform will be a venue of discussion of the various aspects of journeys development - from conceptualizing and planning the journeys to launching them - paving the way for latest ideas and ensure continuing improvements. The group also agreed to create an integrated guide that easily provide customers with comprehensive and adequate information about the journeys.
