Under the support of HAR Properties, real estate services developer, the “Notre-Dame de la Dormition des Peres Salvatoriens” church held its first concert in Saifi Village, Beirut on May 6, 2015. All proceeds from the concert went to the church, which seeks out great musical opportunities to celebrate the value and enjoyment of music.
Performed by Fondation Résonnance Liban, an international NGO which promotes and performs piano music in diverse places where it is not generally heard and practiced, such as prisons, hospitals and refugee camps, the concert, a first, from Fondation Résonnance, of a monthly series of musical performances, is free of charge and open to the public, gathering guests from all around Lebanon.
Philippe Tabet, General Manager at HAR properties, explained, “We are proud to collaborate with Fondation Résonnance Liban to initiate this concert. As a Lebanon-based and dedicated real estate company, we continuously strive to develop motivating projects that improve our community and enrich human lives,” adding that, “Our passion for innovation has led us to seek and adopt new ways of making a positive and lasting difference in Lebanon.” Also commenting on the occasion, Elizabeth Sombart, Founder and President of Fondation Résonnance worldwide, said, “It is an honor to witness one of Beirut’s famous churches revive itself through our music. We hope to continue raising awarness about the goal of our foundation, which is to bring our music where it does not go.”
Followed by a wine reception, an audience full of admiration devotedly listened to Fondation Résonnance Liban’s concert, gathering performers of different ages and backgrounds, regardless of technical level or professional environment.
