Banque Libano-Française (BLF) won the “Driving Financial Inclusion” award from MasterCard during the MasterCard Innovation Forum 2014 which was held in Singapore on September 24-25, 2014 in presence of 350 MasterCard partners.
The Innovation Awards aim to highlight the best examples of partners who demonstrate a deep understanding of consumer needs and deliver highly impactful and innovative payment solutions.
“Banque Libano-Française's winning Digital Food Program is an important achievement for Lebanon and for our Bank” said Mrs. Myrna Wehbe, Director of Cards Services, who received the award on behalf of BLF. She also added: "This program falls under BLF CSR strategy that aims to include disadvantaged people into the banking system. It was made possible thanks to a pioneering electronic solution created by MasterCard and BLF.”
