Audi Power on Ice in Finland

Beirut, February 2015: As part of its ongoing commitment to provide the best driving experiences to Audi lovers, Ets. Kettaneh F. A. exclusive distributor of Audi cars in Lebanon organized a trip for 20 loyal customers to Finland during January, to participate in a unique ice driving program in the spectacular area of Muonio.   In the heart of Finland, 200 kilometers beyond the Arctic Circle, the exclusive group of Audi customers experienced a breathtaking driving pleasure and a unique adrenaline rush behind the wheel of the powerful AudiS5 Sportback cars on the frozen lakes of Finland. During the ice driving training program, professional instructors demonstrated a completely new dimension of driving techniques to Audi customers from steering, counter steering, stabilizing, and ice drifting on circuits up to seven kilometers in length on a frozen lake. The 3 day program covered various handling courses, exercises on braking in corners and slalom driving as well as free practice sessions in the fleet of Audi S5 Sportback cars, specially prepared for this once in a lifetime event. During this exceptional trip, drivers discovered a natural environment whose overwhelming beauty lies in the simplicity of the landscape, whilst learning to deploy the phenomenal capabilities of Audi quattro drive on the icy surface. A snow scooter tour through the never-ending expanse of the Finnish winter landscape was just the right way to recover from all the excitement.
