Alfa congratulates its team member, Mustafa Kheireddine for his accomplishments in the Beirut championship for traditional folk sports

Mr. Mustafa Kheireddine, a team member of Alfa, managed by Orascom Telecom, won the first place in lifting a crowbar, a stone roller and mortar in the physically challenged category, at the Beirut championship for traditional folk sports organized by the Arab Union of Traditional Folk Sports, the Heritage Committee, and Golden Body Club. On this occasion, Alfa CEO and Chairman Marwan Hayek stated, “We congratulate our colleague Mustafa on the achievement he made for himself and for Alfa, which supports him in all his sport challenges. Mostafa has proven with his excellence and professional and personal determination that disability was never an obstacle for success and progress”. He added that the effective integration of people with special needs cannot succeed without the support of individuals and institutions, this support to which Alfa commits as a socially responsible company especially in terms of granting equal opportunities on the basis of merit. He also noted that, in accordance with Law No. 220/2000, Alfa gives a significant attention in its strategy for people with special needs who make up more than 3% of the staff. Hayek also pointed out that the company offices are equipped to suit the needs of these colleagues and facilitate their integration in the work environment.
