Sharjah Tatweer Forum reaffirms support for Arab women empowerment at ‘Young Arab Women Leaders’ forum
Sharjah Tatweer Forum (STF) has underscored the importance of empowering young Arab women leaders during its participation at the ‘8th Young Arab Women Leaders: The Voice of the Future’ conference in Kuwait. Organized by the Arab International Women’s Forum (AIWF), the conference provided STF with an interactive global platform to showcase its full support for Arab businesswomen in line with its mission to help accelerate the socio-economic progress of the UAE and other Gulf and Middle Eastern countries.
Over 200 female leaders and entrepreneurs from more than 15 Arab countries joined the event to tackle both key relevant opportunities and challenges in the 21st century. The participants shared their experiences and success stories in various vital fields and sectors, focusing particularly on pressing concerns and issues. Additionally, they studied emerging trends, best practices, and opportunities for young women leaders across the region to grow and reinforce their entrepreneurial and innovative skills.
Hajir Al Eisa, Founder and CEO of Manar Al Maarifa Training & Management Consultants and member of Sharjah Tatweer Forum, represented STF in the conference. Al Eisa is highly renowned for her continuous efforts to promote the role of women in the field of entrepreneurship and her prominent role in enhancing female contributions to global socio-economic development.
During the sessions, STF actively joined various discussions on ways to strengthen public-private partnership to help young women entrepreneurs achieve business leadership and excellence, as well as enhance their contributions to regional economies.
Al Eisa said: “The recent edition of ‘Young Arab Women Leaders: The Voice of the Future’ successfully brought together women entrepreneurs and leaders from all over the Arab World. Many participants worked towards bridging communication gap, building direct communication channel, exchanging best experiences, and encouraging young Arab women to achieve their entrepreneurial aspirations. Moreover, they emphasized the central role of women as a true partner in nation building and economic, social and cultural developments. It was a privilege to be part of this conference, which has taken on the noble task of supporting women achieve their goals, assume leadership roles, and unleash their capabilities and high skills across all vital areas and sectors.”

The STF was founded in 2005 through an Emiri decree issued by His Highness (H.H.) Dr. Sheikh Sultan bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah. The forum aims to introduce the most important global and local trends while reinforcing the role of young leaders and linking ties between the economic sectors in order to improve Sharjah and consolidate its position as a highly competitive emirate. STF’s framework is based on several concepts, which includes innovation, economy knowledge, entrepreneurship, support for innovative projects that serve as key tools towards comprehensive development, stimulating community outreach, volunteer work and CSR. The forum also seeks to promote fruitful cooperation with major consulting firms, research centers and international and local universities in order to ensure the improvement of future generations in the field of leadership and management.
