Inspire rather than prescribe: BMW Group believes in technology openness for e-mobility

The BMW Group, a pioneer in electromobility, is rapidly expanding its range of electrified vehicles. Within two years, the company will offer five fully-electric series-production vehicles: Alongside the BMW i3, with more than 150,000 units built to date, this year will see the start of production of the fully electric MINI at Plant Oxford (UK). This will be followed in 2020 by the fully-electric BMW iX3 from Shenyang (China) and in 2021 by the BMW iNEXT, which will be produced in Dingolfing (Germany), and the BMW i4 from Plant Munich (Germany).

NISSAN E.DAMS SCORES BEST FORMULA E RESULT IN MONACO

Nissan e.dams has scored its best Formula E result with the team finishing the Monaco E-Prix with two cars in the top five and Oliver Rowland standing on the podium.

Rowland took second place after finishing only 0.201 of a second behind the race winner, while Sebastien Buemi completed the impressive points haul for the team by crossing the line in fifth.

Six strong drivers in the BMW M8 GTE Driver line-up confirmed for the 24 Hours of Le Mans

The 2018/19 ‘Super Season’ in the FIA World Endurance Championship (WEC) draws to a close on 15th/16th June with the 24 Hours of Le Mans (FRA). BMW M Motorsport has now announced the six drivers who will race the two BMW M8 GTE for BMW Team MTEK on the Sarthe region track. The team’s regular drivers Martin Tomczyk (GER), Nick Catsburg (NED), António Félix da Costa (POR) and Augusto Farfus (BRA) will be joined by BMW works drivers Philipp Eng (AUT) and Jesse Krohn (FIN) at Le Mans.

Dubai Tourism Numbers: Expedia Group Reveals Top Countries

The UAE is expected to continue to be the preferred GCC destination for European tourists, welcoming a projected 8.3 million by 2023[1]. The latest data released by Expedia Group disclosed that travelers from the UK and France have topped the list for European travel demand into the UAE in Q1 2019. France saw more than 40% year on year growth in demand compared to the same period last year with a 5% share of total room nights, whilst the UK had almost a 15% share of room nights with a year on year growth of below 5%.
