Organizers of the 5th edition of the Lebanon International Oil and Gas Summit (5th LIOG – 2019), announced that the event will be held from 2 to 4 April, 2019 at the prestigious Hilton Beirut Habtoor Grand Hotel, under the patronage of Lebanon’s Ministry of Energy and Water (MEW).
LIOG-2019 Summit will be at the centre of a crucial year for Lebanon’s oil and gas industry. 2019 will mark the start of exploration drilling in two maritime blocks, the launch of the second licensing round offshore Lebanon, and the introduction of Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG) for the first time to the Lebanese market through FSRUs.
All those milestones require major investments and present huge opportunities for oil and gas companies and investors all around the world.
“We value your efforts in organizing LIOG-2019, which contributes to promoting investments in the petroleum sector,” said the Ministry of Energy and Water in its letter to the organizers confirming its patronage of the event.
According to the organizers, the fifth edition of the LIOG Summit will make major leaps ahead with a refurbished programme which allows for more in-depth interactive discussions as well as more opportunities for networking activities, and business dealing.
The event is organized around the slogan: ‘A full stream of insights and opportunities’. It will include a two day strategic conference, and a technical day, covering the whole value chain of the petroleum industry in Lebanon.The Summit is organized by the British-based company, Global Events Partners Ltd., and Lebanon’s Planners and Partners S.A.L. Global Event Partners Ltd. is affiliated to the dmg::events network, a leading organizer of world-renowned oil and gas events including Gastech, and ADIPEC; and is a subsidiary of the Daily Mail and General Trust plc, one of the largest media companies in the UK.
